Sometimes, like now, I'm thinking the meaning of life.... I'm totally speechless.... :-((
04.10.2009 Again a long time with no updates. Some shows for Monty and Samba, again a res-CC and Best-Male-4 for Monty in Porvoo show, in other shows nice placements in the classes. I've moved again. Please, check the new contact-information. There's also a new phone number. The older one is also valid but the best way to reach me is the first option...
11.08.2009 Some showresults.. Last weekend was Turku show judged by A. Allessandri from Italy. Samba won champion bitches and was finally BOS. The entry was one of the biggest this year in all breed shows. Monty was third in his class with Exc. 18.07.2009 was HVK Sighthound Specialty judged by Mrs Märki from Switzerland. Monty went Best Male 4th.

08.06.2009 Last weekend we enjoyed Finnish National Specialty under judge Sammi Wilson, South Africa. Monty was second in intermediate class and was competing for the res-CC to the final round of two...and was lost...;-) Samba made a comeback after 4 years of absence and boy she loved to perform herself! She was fourth in a big champion class and beated some very beautiful bitches. Great start for Samba, she will be seen more in the rings this year. On Sunday was time for Salo show judged by Andreja Novak, Slovenia. Monty won the intermediate and was finally Best Male 3rd & res-CC!
03.05.2009 A lot has happened during this spring and finally I & the dogs have moved to our new home. Please, see the new address in the contact-page. No shows so far but Monty, Macy and Samba will start their show-season during next month.

01.01.2009 Summary of 2008 & some plans for 2009 Only four of F-puppies were shown in 2008. Penni, Fiona, Monty and Zelda were all shown only few times and were all graded at least EXC's. Monty and Penni got res-CC's and Penni is now Finnish Junior Winner 2008! Most of all I want to thank my wonderful puppy-owners for the fantastic care of their dogs!! Hearthill- affies' welfare is the most important thing for me... Special thank you Terja for SUPER-handling of our Miss Penni. We owe you a lot!! =) In 2009 we're attending some more shows. Also Chili, Macy and Moa will join the show-crew. No puppies this year but we have some really special puppyplans for year 2010.... ;o)

14.12.2008 Helsinki International Winner 2008 -show, judge Mr. Rainer Vuorinen, 36 males+32 bitches Hearthill Feel The Beat "Penni" winner of 14 junior bitches, Best Bitch 6th, JuniorWinner JW-08 I'm so proud of Penni, she's following her mothers footsteps!! In junior males the judge was very hard. In the class of 11 junior males no EXC's were given. Monty did really well and placed second in that class.

09.11.2008 Yesterday we had a Hearthill-meeting. Boy, they had fun together; especially the boys were crazy about the girls.... ;-) Thank you all for participating, good food and company!! Some snapshots from the meeting can be found in the gallery.

Naarits, Oshanameh's afghans Hearthill Full Monty "Monty" winner of junior males, Best Male 5th, res-CC Hearthill Feel The Beat "Penni" winner of junior bitches, Best Bitch 5th, res-CC I'm so proud of my kids! =) Hearthill Fifth Element "Filo" found a best possible new home for himself! Nina, Topi and Lotte; You're most welcome to Hearthill-family!!
07.09.2008 Last week I was visiting in UK and was residing at Alouanns. I enjoyed the trip a lot and want to thank again the girls for great hospitality!! I met a lot of marvellous new people and had really fun time there. Special greetings to Glynis ad Tina and of course to "half-finns" John and Moira!! =) Hearthill F's haven't been entered to any shows lately, they are home for maturing. Maybe we'll enter a couple of shows later this year.
23.07.2008 Last weekend Fiona entered Helsinki Sighthound Specialty under J-L Grünheid resulting EXC / 2 in junior bitches. Congratulations!
29.06.2008 Some showresults... Penni debuted in our National Specialty by going second place in a huge junior class (17 bitches). Only two Exc's were given in that class. Yesterday was a sighthound specialty in Mustiala judged by a respected breeder C. Roseen Lundström, Khaos afghans fron Sweden. Monty was second in junior males and later he was among the six best males (only 4 are placed). Zelda was third in junior bitches with Exc. Today was a Järvenpää show judged by D. Dryburgh from Australia. Monty was 5th best male and Fiona won her class. Well done kids!
04.05.2008 Special congratulations to Serina and Jouko, the owners of Fonzie, for having a little baby princess on 2th of May!! Also huge thanks for my friends who remembered my 40-years birthday and made the day memorable with wonderful party and absolutely stunning birthday gift. Thank You All!!!! =)

18.12.2007 Last week the weather was so shiny, frosty and beautiful.. But when it came to Saturday and our puppymeeting, it of course suddenly changed to be wet and muddy... So......we had 15 WET and MUDDY afghans there... I'm updating only couple of photos, the rest were soooo awful.... But puppies had fun.... ;o) Here are some muddy snapshots of Leya, Monty, Zorro and Zelda . :-))
02.12.2007 Long time with no updates... The weather has been so awful during the whole autumn that it has been almost impossible to take good photos. At least now we have some snow here, so here's a couple of snapshots of our kids SNOWFUN (please, follow the link). Just before the Christmas we're going to have Hearthill- meeting where will be totally 15 of the existing 17 puppies. Hope the weather will be fine then and we could take a lots of new photos. I'm looking forward to see all of my puppies there!!
08.10.2007 Last weekend the F-litter had a puppymeeting. I want to thank all the owners for the nice day we had. Special thanks to Tuire for being our host. Let's do it again soon!! =)
02.09.2007 Almost all of the puppies have now gone to their new homes. Good luck to all of them and special hugs to owners!! Penni is still looking for a loving home....
29.07.2007 Chili went yesterday In Vantaa Best Bitch 3rd under breed specialist Mark Cocozza, GB. Today in Pori show she got also Excellent but didn't place in BB-class.
24.07.2007 Puppies are now 2 weeks old. Two girls were soooo tiny that I was afraid they wouldn't survive but now everything is ok and they all are growing fastly...and soon they'll run all over the house ruining everything...LOL Chili's last two shows for this year are in next weekend; next year we're concentrating our puppies and after that it's hopefully time for Chili's puppies; we'll see...

02.07.07 Chili went Best Bitch 2nd in Tuusula Summer Show'07!! Thank You Mrs. Durando-Fassio, Italy! Taika was entered in her third official show (also in Tuusula): CC & Best Bitch 1st & Best Of Opposite under Mrs. Säde Hohteri. Thank You!
18.06.07 Last week we visited in Taika's breeder and took new photos of this thinny little princess. Boy, she's beautiful... :o) Please, take a look... She and Fiona had also nice time playing outside.
I want also to congratulate the father of our upcoming litter, Kevin, who is still going strong as a 8 years old veteran!! On Saturday Best Male 3rd & BEST IN SHOW VETERAN! On Sunday BEST OF BREED & GROUP-1!
11.06.2007 Hearthill Some Like It Hot 'Chili' went Best Bitch 1 and Best Of Opposite yesterday at Jämsänkoski show under K. Hedberg, Sweden!! Samba is confirmed to be in whelp!! Now we'll have to wait few more weeks.... ;o)
14.05.2007 A lot has happened during last week. New Champion Our brindle beauty Hearthill Some Like It Hot aka 'Chili' finished her championship with style. On Saturday 12.5 she went BB-3 with CC under Mrs A. Klaas! On Sunday 13.5 she went BB-2 with CC under B. Rajic! We are so proud of our second champion from S-litter. And believe it or not, she really performed like a star... ;o) Upcoming litter Samba has bred to Kevin! Now we're keeping our fingers crossed that everything goes well and the next Hearthill-litter will see a light in week 28. New photos We took new photos of Chili and Samba in a veeery windy weather. 06.03.2007 The winter has gone almost without any shows. But soon our covergirl "Chili" will start her campaigining for this year. Watch out this superb brindle girl! =) Now we're also waiting for Samba's season to begin so we can breed her to the stunning Kevin. Also plans for the next litter (by Chili) have already done.
