I was involved with afghans in late 70's and in 1982, at the
age of 14, I finally got my first own one "The Big Boy" Fin
Ch Taikatassun Loitsu.
In 1986 came the first girl, Fin Ch Dv-TJ-88
Mandrill's Mistake "Mitzy" from Sweden, 1990 came East of
The Sun "Ronja" from Norway and 1992 Mitzy's daughter Fin Ch
Punapaulan Ulriikka "Ruska".
Nowadays the sisters
Punapaulan Lyydia "Henna"
and Lempi "Gala"
carry the legacy of their grandmom Mitzy and
great-grandmother Int Nord Ch Tuohi-Tikan Taika, who is one
of my all-time favourites.
From my first own litter I
kept the "Miss Character" Fin Ch JW-04 Hearthill Shake It
Baby "Samba", who is a spitting image of her great-grandmom
Mitzy. I also co-own very promising "Chili", Fin Ch
Hearthill Some Like It Hot. From the second litter I
couldn't resist a temptation and kept a male "Monty" and his
sister "Zelda".
I'm very keen on Scandinavian
lines mixed with a little American and Australian bloods. My
goal in the future is to have a functional, sound and
balanced afghans with sound, ground-covering movements
and with icing on the cake, the character and attitude
that afghans are famous for.
The biggest thanks belongs to
my mother Marjatta!!
I couldn't have succeeded without her!!
She has been very active in
afghan scene and lives nowadays with "Axel"
and Samba's daughter "Penni"... |
